Packing...

Ahh! Only one more day before the journey starts for our wild west adventure! I should be all settled in my new "casa" by this time next week looking forward to starting my first day of work. Hard to believe that its been two months since I first got this news. For me, I think it seems still kinda surreal. For so long I kept it in the back of my mind thinking that it will take forever for the time to come... but it really has come up quick on me.

For those of you that do not know, I graduated from MTU in May in a degree in Exercise Science and will be a Ski Instructor at Deer Valley Resort in Park City, UT. It is a seasonal position but I am looking forward to all the opportunities that are in the area within the skiing industry. Peter is moving out west, because the mountains have also been calling him, after he graduates from MTU with a degree in Economics. He will head out with my mom a couple days after Christmas.

I started finalizing my packing at 10:30pm tonight (Saturday), needless to say my mother wasn't pleased. So I figure why not create a blog, which is on my list of 47 other things that I need to do before the big move. So here I am. Check the blog out during my journey across the US, pictures of the beautiful mountains, and updates on how many mountains yoopers can move.
